Hello Reader, Motherâs Day can bring up a lot of feelingsâgratitude, joy, exhaustion, guilt, and sometimes the quiet fear that weâre not doing enough. Especially for moms in our Defend Young Minds community. That's why I made you a special gift: a list of five Mother's Day affirmations. Click here to download âĄď¸ 5 Mothers Day Affirmations.pdfâ I know you care deeply about protecting your childâs mind. And youâre up against a lot! Youâre trying to raise kids who are emotionally resilient, screen-smart, and prepared to reject pornographyâs toxic messages. And while your parenting is cherished, courageous work, I know it can also feel heavy. So hereâs the Motherâs Day message I hope youâll take to heart: â¤ď¸ You may not be a perfect mom, but you are the perfect mother for your children. In this article, I share 3 mental shifts that can help moms feel happier and more peaceful right now: đ¸ Focus your energy. You donât have to do everything. A few simple, loving traditions can be enough. đ¸ Accept that your child has freedom to choose. Your childâs choices are not always a reflection of your parenting. You can guide, teach, and loveâwithout carrying responsibility for every decision they make. đ¸ Remember that you are the perfect mother for your kids. Your love, concern, and willingness to keep learning and showing upâthose things matter more than perfection. This Motherâs Day, I hope you give yourself grace. Your children donât need a flawless mom. They need you.
