❓What If Body Safety Is Only Half the Lesson? + $50 Amazon Gift Card Winner 🎉

Hello Reader,

You already know that body safety conversations are a crucial part of parenting in 2026.

But there’s a forgotten side of body safety that we tackle in our latest article: How to Be a Safe Kid: Is Your Child Only Learning Half the Body Safety Rules?

Are we teaching our kids how to be safe towards other kids?

It’s an important question when more than 50% of reported child sexual abuse cases involve another child as the person who caused the harm. Among adolescents, that number rises to 73%. 🤯

⚠️ Parents also need to consider how pornography exposure fuels these stats.

Children are natural imitators. When pornography enters the picture, kids encounter sexual behaviors they cannot process—or understand they should NOT imitate.

Research involving more than 16,000 children and adolescents found a significant association between exposure to porn and problematic “child-on-child” sexual behavior.

❓So what can parents do?

It starts with making sure our body-safety conversations include both sides:

  1. teaching kids how to recognize unsafe behavior, and
  2. giving them clear boundaries for how they should treat other children.

Simple rules can give kids the clarity they need when curiosity, pressure, or something they've seen online enters the picture.

Our latest article takes a deeper look at practical ways parents can help their kids become safe and respectful toward others, including how pornography can dangerously influence children’s behavior.

And perhaps most importantly, kids need to know that seeing something doesn't mean they should copy it.

Warmly,

Kristen

Hello Reader, Sometimes, being different is exactly what helps our kids thrive.
